Craps
is played with two die or one pair of dice and the player may bet
either Do or Don't.
Basically
wagers are made on the outcome of rolls of the dice made by
players on the game. Play begins when an individual makes a bet on
either the Pass or Don't Pass Line.
A
pair of dice is selected by the player (sometimes called the
shooter) and is then rolled towards the opposite end of the table.
If a seven or eleven is rolled, all Pass Line bets are paid even
money and all Don't Pass bets are taken.
If
a two, three or twelve is rolled all Pass Line bets are taken. If
the roll is a three or twelve the Don't Pass is paid. If the roll
is a two it is a standoff on the Don't Pass. If any other number
(4,5,6,8,9 or 10) rolls on the first throw of the dice, it becomes
the "Point."
Once
the "Point" is established the shooter continues to roll
the dice until either the "Point" number is rolled again
or seven is rolled. If the "Point" is rolled, all Pass
Line bets are paid. If seven is rolled all Pass Line bets lose.
